No, sleeping items are arranged for you.

What if I have a food allergy?

No problem! Just let us know ahead of time and remind us on the trip. We will take care of you.

Do I need to know how to ride?

We cannot take anyone who has not been riding for at least 3 years. This can be dangerous and we want everyone to be safe.

I’ve never ridden off-road, can I come?

If you are coming on one of our rides that is off-road, you will need to know how to ride off-road and have all the appropriate gear. Again, it is a dangerous sport and we want you to be safe.

Do I need insurance?

You will want travel insurance for your own safety. There are many 3rd party insurance companies that will take care of you. Make sure they approve motorcycle riding. Also, make sure your current car or motorcycle insurance will cover any damage to the bikes you are riding on the tour in the event of an accident.

Guided Tour
Guided tours come in two “flavors”, Fixed Departure and À La Carte. Both include a guide, backup vehicle, mechanic and bookings in a combination of hotels, guest houses and deluxe camping, depending on the tour and availability of accommodation per area and meals.

- Fixed Departures occur on the date specified on our website for the selected tour.

- A La Carte is the selected tour, but at a date which is suitable to the Rider / Client.

What kind of ride is it?

Levels of Difficulty
Each itinerary is marked with a difficulty level, and the detail will also give you an idea of the road conditions. The tours in the Himalayas generally require more skill from the riders and are less pillion friendly. Our tours range from predominantly black top to exhilarating off-road, with some exciting mixes in between. Should you be unsure, please don’t hesitate to
contact us and inquire for more details.

To Pillion or Not to Pillion …
Southern India, Rajasthan, Sri Lanka, and Thailand are definitely pillion friendly.
Please
contact us about the Himalayan tours should you wish to bring a pillion on those since these routes are more demanding from riders. It depends on the bike you book in Mongolia since the KTMs don’t have pillion fixtures, but the Royal Enfields do.

Speed of Travel
It’s a tour, not a race; please be considerate of the group and the laws, people, and animals of the country while on tour and ride accordingly.
